Class News

This is a picture of the Art Clay Silver Paper Project that Angela will be teaching on February 20 - although this picture shows a ring, the class project that day will be a pair of earrings.

There are still 2 openings left in this class - don't miss your chance to learn this new technique!

There are also a couple of openings left in the Art Clay Silver Rings class this Saturday - give us a call if you're interested.

We have still openings left in the upcoming Wire Wrap Classes and the Chunky Beaded Cluster class, and there are only 2 spots left in the Cold Connections Workshop, and 3 slots left in Kumihimo.

Now that winter has set in, use this time to get started in something new!

Update on classess and drawing

Congratulations to Caryn Anderson, who took home the lonely snowmen earrings today - and here is the winning ticket number for the enameled copper earwire assortment:

If you have the matching stub with this number, bring it by the shop to claim your earwires!

This drawing will end at 5 PM on January 30, so check your tickets now!

Our cold connections class (Feb 27-28) has only 2 openings left, and there are 4 openings remaining in the Kumihimo class (2/26). The wire classes and Art Clay classes all have 3-4 openings remaining, so if you're interested in one of our upcoming classes, don't delay in registering.

These Snowmen need a good home

No one has ever stepped forward to claim the poor Swarovski snowman earrings that were our November stimulus giveaway - so here's the deal: the first person to walk into the store after I post this newsletter, with any ticket at all for a November purchase (one of the red entry tickets - not a receipt, just to clarify), and to tell me they read about these poor homeless snowmen, gets to take them home. Bye-Bye, snowmen!

New business: Don't forget to check out our upcoming classes -
Wire-Wrapping: 1/24: Celtic Necklace & Matching Earrings
2/7: Basic Wire-Wrapped Cabochon pendant
2/21: Darlin's set (matching bracelet, earrings, and ring)

Art Clay Silver: 1/30: Rings
2/20: Paper Clay Project (new technique)
*remember: previous successful completion of Angie's Intro Art Clay Class is a prerequisite for either of these classes

BeadWork: 2/26: Kumihimo
3/13: Chunky Beaded Cluster Necklace

Cold Connections: 2/27-2-28

Pictures of Kumihimo and the Celtic Necklace can be found a couple of posts below this one; the post was titled "Upcoming Events", and dated 12/12/09. We also have samples of all these projects in the shop, except the Art Clay Silver Paper Project - and I am trying real hard to get a sample piece from Angie.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will draw a ticket for the December giveaway (the enameled earwires) as soon as someone comes to claim the snowmen!

Happy New Year!
